Thermal Labels

Economic Thermal: This technique utilizes direct heat-printing on the paper without thermal ribboning. Its durability is limited however, as it is susceptible to humidity, alcohol and light, and as it is not heat-resistant, the printed data is not permanent. Due to its low cost, it is preferred by small stores.
Laminated Thermal: Each side of the printed material is laminated, increasing the printing’s resistance to humidity and sunlight. More durable than unlaminated thermal printing.
Thermal Cardstock : The printing surface is thermal-coated. Generally economic thermal materials are used, and as thermal ribbons are not used in the printing process, this method is economical. However, as this method is sensitive to light and humidity, it is not recommended for long-term usages, and is preferred for short-term situations, such as seasonal items as textile labels, sporting event tickets, name and entry cards and shelf tags.
TTR Cardstock: Coated on both sides, or just on the side to be printed, this material can be printed with a barcode printer over a previously-printed base color. Used for library cards and textile labels.
