English Satin : This preferred fabric, with its silky texture, is generally produced in the Far East. There are two types of this hemmed, double-sided fabric. All types of printing on this fabric are dry-cleanable; hot-print and ink-print can be washed in temperatures up to 60 degrees, thermal print up to 50 degrees, and with specialized settings can tolerate up to 85 degrees.
Coated (Japonica) : This widely utilized fabric, 100% nylon, is produced in the Far East and is known for its quality. Methods of printing for this fabric include paint-press, thermal transfer, letter-press serigraphy and heat press.
Local Coated : This local product, noted for its quality, is generally used for care labels. It can be printed in any size, starting from 1 centimeter. Hot-press and offset printing is dry-clean safe, and can also tolerate up to 60 degrees in normal washing.
European Coated : All types of printing on this material are dry-clean safe, and hot-press and paint-press printing can tolerate cleaning temperatures up to 60 degrees, while thermal printing can be washed in temperatures up to 50 degrees. Specialized settings can extend the wash temperature to 85 degrees.
Crystal Satin : This material is solely produced in and imported from the Far East. Every type of printing is dry-cleanable. Heat-press and paint-press printing can tolerate up to 60 degrees, and thermal printing can be washed in degrees ranging from 60 to 85 degrees, depending on the machine’s settings.
Polyester : This material is generally used in the production of care labels. It can be printed in any size, starting from 1 centimeter, and heat-press and offset printing are dry-clean safe, and in normal washing can tolerate up to 60 degrees.
